
As well as being the tallest building in the world, the Dubai Tower also has the highest observation deck in the world
The world's tallest building has opened in the United Arab Emirates.
More than 800m high, the new Dubai Tower has 160 floors and more than 500,000 square metres of floor space.

To mark the opening, the developers invited the French climber Alain Robert, who has scaled many of the world's tallest buildings, to climb the tower.
But as Mr Robert explained to World Update, they have since withdrawn the invitation:
