Mobile phone and internet technology have converged over the last ten years

The last decade has seen many new scientific and technological advances, but the changes in the way we communicate have been dramatic.

Newshour's Dan Damon looks back at a decade of new technology with:

  • Ken Auletta, author of "Googled: the end of the world as we know it" who also writes for the New Yorker
  • Mona Eltahawy, an award-winning Egyptian columnist in New York
  • Tom Standage, business affairs editor and former technology editor at the Economist in London
