Somalia explosion kills ministers

A Somali man who was injured in a suicide bomb attack during a university student graduation ceremony at a local hotel in Mogadishu, Somalia looks on while trying to scramble from the scene on December 3, 2009

At least 18 people, including three cabinet ministers, have been killed by a suicide bomb in Somalia.

Three other ministers were seriously injured.

The blast ripped through a hotel in Mogadishu during a graduation ceremony for students.

The BBC's Mohammed Olad Hassan was at the ceremony and was lucky to survive.
