Hillary Clinton clarifies policy on Afghanistan and Pakistan

Earlier this year President Obama launched what he called "a comprehensive new strategy for Afghanistan and Pakistan".

More than 6 months later and that strategy is still high on the list of concerns of many Americans.

Should there be substantial troop reinforcements? Does the State Department see things the way the Pentagon sees them?

The US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, has been talking to the BBC's John Humphrys.
