As President Obama marked his first 100 days in office, the US Congress passed his budget.
However, he said the hard work of economic regeneration still had a long way to go.
He marked the milestone by speaking at a town hall meeting in St Louis, Missouri.

The opinion polls give him an approval rating of around 60% with disapproval at about 30%.
The BBC's Kevin Connolly has been to the Republican heartland of Oklahoma, which had the strongest anti-Obama turnout last November.
He begins his investigation at the local talk radio station.
