The new homeless in America

Even though President Obama says he now sees glimmers of hope in the US economy, for many the bad times continue.

That includes children, a group that has been particularly hard hit by the recession.

Because of the credit crunch, a lot of families have lost their homes and with no safety net available, more and more are entering the shelter system.

As Dumeetha Luthra reports, in New York alone, more than 15,000 children are now homeless.
