Peace Day facilitates food deliveries and vaccinations
The people of Afghanistan are now used to the sight of NATO soldiers, but they might have been surprised this week to see a world-famous film star touring their country.
The British actor, Jude Law, accompanied his film producer friend, Jeremy Gilley, to Kabul to help publicise the United Nations' annual Peace Day on September 21st.
Their film about Afghanistan, The Day After Peace, was recently previewed at the Cannes film festival.
It is the second visit Jude Law has made to Afghanistan. He and Jeremy Gilley told Newshour about their impressions.
