The existence of the yeti, or 'abominable snowman' is doubted by most experts.

And yet the conjecture and the fascination endures.

Legends, travellers tales, footprints in the snow and occasionally something more tangible.

Wildlife artist Pollyanna Pickering was travelling in Bhutan looking for the rare snow leopard.

Instead she found what might be evidence of a creature far more elusive.
