London is getting ready for the world's biggest sporting event which starts on 27th July.

This week we hear from footballer, David Beckham.

David is from London and we hear how he feels about the Olympics being in his hometown.

For most of my life I have lived in a small town called Fukuchiyama in Kyoto-prefecture in Japan. Ever since my childhood, there have always been lots and lots of changes taking place in Fukuchiyama. It's really incredible how they have totally transformed it over the past few decades.
