London Life

This month, we published the following features:

London Chocolate Week
This year, London Chocolate Week promises to be as enticing as ever... Who can resist all those events where it's free to taste so many different types of chocolate?!

Of course, chocolate's always been a great way to tell someone that you're sorry after an argument or to let someone know how special they are. So why is chocolate often seen as something we shouldn't really eat? In this edition of London Life, we find out all that and more!

Sheffield
This feature coincided with the BBC Learning English road trip to the city of Sheffield. We find out lots of interesting information about the city from Kate Betts, media consultant and Sheffield resident.

A to Z
This programme features an archive interview with Phyllis Pearsall, the founder of the very first A-Z street map of London. Phyllis walked along thousands of London streets and covered huge distances to create her detailed street by street map of London. The first edition was published in 1936.

Children of Men
In this programme we zoom forward in time to consider a dynamic vision of London in the year 2027. We hear a review of a new film, Children of Men, which is set in a dark and dangerous London-of-the-future.
