The producers were looking for a new and previously unknown actress to play the part of Maria for a new production of the world famous musical, "The Sound of Music". Connie managed to beat many other hopefuls and is now playing to a sell-out audience.
A London gallery recently hosted an exhibition of Indian jewellery, most of which was made by jewellery makers from the city of Jaipur. It's been a centre for jewellery-making for many years and the exhibition included priceless necklaces, bracelets and other items that were made for former Indian emperors.
