Sunday (1) turned 1: CHOOSE 1: / t / 1: / d / 1: / Id / into a very long day. My mum was coming back from holiday so I went to the airport to pick her up.  

Unfortunately her flight was (2) delayed 2: CHOOSE 2: / t / 2: / d / 2: / Id / for a couple hours so I had to hang around at the airport. I went to the bookshop and (3) browsed 3: CHOOSE 3: / t / 3: / d / 3: / Id / around for a while, (4) flicked 4: CHOOSE 4: / t / 4: / d / 4: / Id / through some magazines and bought a paper to read while I (5) waited 5: CHOOSE 5: / t / 5: / d / 5: / Id / .

She finally (6) arrived 6: CHOOSE 6: / t / 6: / d / 6: / Id / at about 5 o'clock and (7) wanted 7: CHOOSE 7: / t / 7: / d / 7: / Id / to go straight home because she was so tired.

So we (8) jumped 8: CHOOSE 8: / t / 8: / d / 8: / Id / in the car and I (9) dropped 9: CHOOSE 9: / t / 9: / d / 9: / Id / her off at her place then (10) headed 10: CHOOSE 10: / t / 10: / d / 10: / Id / to my flat in south London but when I (11) tried 11: CHOOSE 11: / t / 11: / d / 11: / Id / to find my house keys, they weren't in my pocket.
 
I (12) realised 12: CHOOSE 12: / t / 12: / d / 12: / Id / with horror that I must have left them in the airport bookshop when I was paying for my paper. So I had to go all the way back to the airport but luckily someone had handed in my keys and I was able to collect them and come home again. It was a very, very long day.
