Children in Need

Today, Friday 18th November is a special day for the BBC. It's Children in Need day. The day when celebrities give their time and talent for free and people from all over the country take part in strange events to raise money for charity.

In this programme learn more about Children in Need from Kate Power, the Head of Marketing and Public Relations for the charity and we also hear from Will who went out to meet people in London and ask about their Children in Need experiences.

Before listening to the programme look at the comprehension questions below. You can hear the answers in the programme. Check your understanding with the test from the Extras section.

1: Who or what is Pudsey?
2: When was Children in Need established?
3: How long is this year's telethon?
