Carnival Costume

This week we take a look at one of the best known carnivals in the world. For a few days each year the city of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil is full of people having one of the biggest street parties in the world.

People who take part in the carnival parades prepare all year to make their costumes, learn the songs and dance the samba. On a recent trip to Rio, Anna Jones visited the Carnival Museum there to find out more about this world famous event.
