1. The Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE)

If you are spending money for English lessons, you want quality tuition from your school. You want proof that you are making good progress.

You also need a good reason for continuing to pay for classes. Most importantly, you want to continue improving your speaking and listening ability as well as your reading and writing.

This is where Trinity's Graded Examinations in Spoken English can help add extra value to your studies.

When you pass a Trinity examination this will be proof that your school is giving you quality tuition to an international standard. It will show you that your school is really teaching you how to communicate in English.

Trinity examinations are aligned to the Common European Framework which is used not only in Europe but throughout the world.

2. Integrated Skills in English (ISE)

If you are going to do a course of further study at college or at university, you will almost certainly need a qualification which includes a test of your reading and writing ability as well as your speaking and listening ability.

The Integrated Skills in English (ISE) assess all of these skills.

The examination does not test your ability to carry out endless grammatical and word transformations, filling gaps and so on. Instead it allows you to write English in real contexts, writing about the sort of things you are likely to need in your studies and in the real world of work and leisure.
