I must ride my scooter to shcool in Taipei city, the capital of Taiwan. On the way to school, I always ride in the slow lane as usual. However,some drivers who talks by cellphone in car ocupying motorcylists' lane in order to slow down.However, It's still dangerous and risky. To my opinion it is important to insist with adeguate laws on the fact to not using mobile phones while driving a car. Even though my husband for instance is using it constantly for work while driving. I myself, when a call is coming in, slow down my car and park first, before responding on the phone. Also here in Italy you risk a penality and points reduced on your drivers licence for using mobile phones while driving a car, but the police here is not too severe about it yet. What I find a still more phenomena is that here in Italy many children in elementary school age have their own mobile phone and in secondary school nearly all students have their mobiles on during the lesson (even though ufficially it is not permitted). A cell phone is crucial in some situations (for instance car accidents where your life is at risk), however it should be kept in a safe place and used only in emergencies. I think it should be forbidden to use mobile in the following places: mosque ,church ,hospitals ,in cars ,in planes,etc. Using mobile phones during driving is a danger for the persong who drives himself and for the others ,this because driving needs careful attention and not distraction caused by talking on mobile ,especially when you hold your mobile by a hand and drive with the other hand.

I am of the opinion that the mobile phone has become the crying need of this modern era. If you don't communicate fast, you may lose your business and relations because you are accessable by everyone at anytime by your mobile and people knowing that make phone calls to you not from your locality, but from the diiferent parts of the world. They require the immediate respond of their calls and not do so means you lose them. Since mobile phone has started the email and photoes option it gained a lot value in our daily life. Now it seems as it is the blood that circulates in the society and if it stops, the whole society will die. But of course there should be some etiquettes for using a mobile phone. The places where its use should ethically be not allowed are Holy Places, crossing a road, attending a class lecture and in operation theaters because these all need concentration not only for yourself but for the people who are next to you. The law that has come into force in Britain should be imposed through out the world as a constant law of driving and the offenders can be prosecuted according to the very set-penalty of the such country where it is broken.
