Do you know the meaning of the following? Try this exercise and check your answers afterwards:
1: Tony uses the word 'emphasis' to mean...

  2: The term 'euphemism' stands for...
      a straightforward expression referring to something unpleasant or embarrassing

      sack, or fire them - in other words, you dismiss them from their job
