Do you know the meaning of the following? Try this exercise and check your answers afterwards:


	1: Satire is...					a mythical creature that is half man and half goat
						the use of humour or irony to show how foolish or wicked someone's behaviour or ideas are
						a place saturated (or filled) with people

	2: Tony uses the word 'parody'...					to describe comedy shows that imitate familiar situations or people in an exaggerated way
						to criticise TV comedy shows of the 70's
						to mean 'a procession of people moving through a public place to celebrate an important event'

	3: When you mock someone, you...					make a life-size sculpture of them
