Pop diva Madonna is having to re-edit her latest video because of the war against Iraq. Her new single American Life has a video which shows the horror of war. A report in an American newspaper said some of it might look wrong now because the war has actually started.
Her spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg said: "Madonna is being sensitive to what's going on in the world right now. What might have looked right two weeks ago might not look that way now." It had been rumoured the star might completely remake the video or withdraw it altogether. But Liz said it's just being "fine tuned" and it would still be out the first week of April.
American Life is due out in the UK on the 14th of April. The album of the same name is released a week later.
