I'm a man and i think that nowadays it's easier to be a woman than in the past, during my mom's generation for instance.
Today, in many subjects of the society, men and women are equal but there is still inequality of opportunities in the wages or the promotions at work.
Fortunately, this gap is being reduced by the evolution of the society and the switch of mentality.

It's a stupid thing to use the word "modern" concerning women. Actually, what does it mean? May it be that there are women who are not modern? Or were there women in the past who weren't modern? Is it a positive word for women or, on the contrary, it's a negative one? Oh, no, I suppose, the right answer is that women are women -- they may be beautiful or ugly, tender or aggressive.
In one word: I'm against using the word "modern" in this meaning because it suggests to be too feminist. And it's not correct for those who "only" want to be a woman.

I think the best thing being a woman is the big power they have got upon the men, I mean, there are only a few things a man won't do in order keep happy his girlfriend or wife. I must say that although I am a man, that power is something I always envy in women (at least in occidental women).

Actually,It's not in many parts it is only in Makkah,Madinah and Riyadh.In Makkah and Madinah ,Non_muslims are not allowed to enter those Islamic patrs where u can find the kabbah and our prohpet's mosque.so we don't enforce any1 to wear it!!And for muslims they wear it because they are in islamic parts and they should respect.
on the other hand,In Gadda,Any1 could wear what he wants:)

The best thing about being a woman is loved by man. Women always have many advantages when they are doing some things. It is very easy to realize this issue. For example, the door will be open in any places by a man before woman steps into the place. There will be a man carry things for woman if he sees her hands busy. Moreover, in any events we always hear that ladies First.

The best thing in women they can be mother. By the way they keeping human kind alive from the beginning of our creation. From my country perspective, They are taking more responsibility to bring up their children. In general, woman are more gentle, positive in nature etc.

I think being a woman is same like being a man...sure there are positive thinks but on the other side there negative thinks...positive is for instance that being a woman means that men respect you and HAVE to respect us and sure there are woman who are abused by men so there are both sides...and a big problem in our society is that men except that all woman have to be a superwoman, good looking, perfect figure and so on... but beauty comes from heart... give woman their freedom so they can live without any fear or complex by thinking that all woman need a diat...recently I read in the BBc that in Arabia woman are allow to vote know..hello where is the justice? We are living in the 21th century why some men think so primitiv that woman aren t same like men?? And why woman are sentenced to jail when they drive car? Where is the justice here and why we can t do anythink against it??

Being a woman is great! I am a woman so I can speak from my personal experience. In my view, the best thing about it is that, broadly speaking, women have deep sensibility, common sense, sense of humour and a tendency towards tenderness and understanding of others. This might be due to the fact that a woman has the unique and incomparable privilege of giving birth to another human being. This means that she is (most of the times) naturally available to listening and sharing feelings and emotions. I think a woman can be anything she wants to be in life, achieving it in a delicate and elegant way. She could even learn and act like a man if she needed it; yet, she would remain absolutely herself inside.The opposite is rather unlikely, isn't it?

In china,Women must wrap their feet with swathe when a child,maybe about 10 years old,so that their feet very small.it is called 3 inch golden lotus,that is considered beautifull.But that is very very pain and difficult for walking.

In Brazil, women are making a revolution. Today there are more women than men in our country. There are more women studying and working than men. Our president is a woman, our heads are women (including my boss is a woman). Man it does not say what women should or should not do or wear.

When I was a child, I envy being a boy because I think they are braver and strong enough to protect the people or things which are important to him. As I grew up, I start to be proud of being a woman. I realize that it's not being a man would be brave. No matter you are male or female, you can do anything you want only if you have a strong faith.
