Isn't an interesting life?

Hey Friends
I am Eman Sultan from Palestine, Iam very delighted to be a blogger in BBC learning English, and I hope that my writings will gain your interest and open the way for your comments.

I work as public Relations and Marketing Manager in Information Technology Center of Excellence at Palestine Polytechnic University which is located in Hebron City- Palestine

I live in an agricultural area which is not crowded with buildings and people, instead of that it is crowded with orchards of grapes and almond trees, surrounded by mountains that are filled by the oak and Pine trees, it has a moderate climate.
This region is called Albwaireh which includes a small number of houses that belong to my relatives.

Albowaireh region in the winter, a pond is mediated it to irrigat the surrounded fields of grapes, this pond is filled now with the rain water

In addition to the development of the residents of this region in various fields of life, particularly in education, but they also cling to their ancestral lands and continue to take care of it and planting its trees until the last breath in their life.

My grandfather who ages more than 95 years is standing beside a small fig tree planted by himself

People in our area get used to eat and cook from their agricultural products and they prepare very delicious food as they inherited from their ancestors, sometimes they use firewood for cooking to add a tasty flavor to it

My grandmother is cooking apricot jam, it is very delicious and I like it very much

I like and enjoy this manner of life, along with availability of new technologies such as my VAIO, iphone that facilitate my life, and I believe that practicing the natural manner is healthier and more fun.

My favorite activity is to ride the horses and roam between grape fields and mountains, and visit relatives who all have kind hearts.

Hello Eman, Welcome to the blogger-family and thanks for your lovely pictures and the comments about you and your family. It is very interesting to read about the living conditions in your country. It seems you live in both in a very modern world and you love how your gandparents live and work. I think to connect both would be a good way for many nations. We should never forget where we come from but certainly we all don't want to give up the advantages of the modern time. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and your country. All the best, Felicitas

I am interest your blog.I interested made apricot jam and milk yoghurts, butter and cheese.

Hello, Eman. Thank you for your blog and pictures. Your grandfather and grandmother look great, somehow from another world. And I think you are right, your life must be very interesting with this mixture of ancestral life and latest technology. Waiting for your next blog.

Hi Eman, welcome! Last year I went to Palestine and I visited Bethlem and Jerico. My trip was very interesting and the places where you lived are really charming! Unfortunately, I saw also the wall that impressed me a lot. Please let us know how this wall changes your life. Thanks!

Hi Eman How are you doing? Please to meet you, I hope you are ok. To be honest with you I’ve been impressed by the way you live there and something that in my opinion is unusual is to know that you have your VAIO and Iphone as well in the countryside, incidentally, my son has told me to ask you if you took those photos with the Iphone and I presume you did. The fact is that I wish I had some of them as you have. Hahahaha, since I only have an old computer as well as an ugly and nearly useless mobile phone. I may need to update these gadgets to ones like yours. Meanwhile I'll manage with the ones I have. Anyway I’ve read your message and as far as I am concerned your English is at a high level, and the way you express your feelings and your vocabulary is pretty good. And talking about your way of life I see that you have a more natural way of cooking and all the products you have are really ecological, by the way, at least here in Spain ecological food is being more and more consumed by many people and they are the more expensive ones in markets, so most people think that this kind of food (the ones you eat) are the best ones, as a result you can consider yourself a young lucky girl for making a living there. It’s been a real pleasure to meet you. Looking forward to reading your interesting stories. Best wishes. Mergui

hi! EMAN,it's nice to know about your life specially about "Palestine".it seems to be a very beautiful place. place full of greenery, mountains with fresh air to breath. as your article says about your day-today life and family. your grandmother is very sweet.i hope ,if i get chance to visit your country, meet your family. this is my first comment and have a little knowledge English.so i am sorry if there is any mistake.

Hi Eman, it's very interesting introduction.Nice to meet you. Especially very interesting is to hear about your stylelife- health nutrition. What we buy nowadays in supermarket is not to health- every day we eat a portion of chemist. It's very nice to see old people who are look so great. Very nice , I look forward to read more about you:)

Salam Eman, it's so nice to have you as a blogger of this month. I will be looking forward to reading interesting blogs from you. The pictures are fantastic. Happy blogging, Naheed

Hi, Eman! I loved to read the information you gave us! It'll be very nice to keep in touch with a person who is from Palestine! I think all the world need to know more about it. Welcome to the blog!

Hello Eman, it's very nice to meet you and welcome you to the february blog. I was very interested in your first post. I live in the countryside myself and I agree with you that it allows us to have a very good and healthier way of life. But you're a little more fortunate because you can have big city's facilities too. Here where I live conditions are not so good. But they're not so bad either. I'm eager to know more about your place and life. Loved the pictures. Maybe you can describe how to make that yougurt you showed us. I was very curious. And congratulations on your grandfather. Very nice man. Welcome and best wishes!!

Hello Eman, I loved read story about your family and way to live. This way of living always interested me, but here where I live is very different. I also look forward to can read more!! Bye!

Hi Ema, Nice to meet you. Your blog is a delight. I was born in Argentina but my father was born in Syria. Once he went to Palestine when he was a kid (just before coming to Argentina). I like the way of life you have. You must be very proud of your grandparents. They seem to be hardworking people with a huge heart. Looking forward to hearing more about you and Palestine and see more pics. Have a good day. Cris

Hello Eman. Thank you for this interesting story about your family's simple life.I also live in town while my all relatives live in village.I would like to visit them strongly.I really interested by your story , I will wait for your soon blog .

Hi My name is Lawan. I’m living in NC, actually my home country is Thailand and I moved to USA since last month. After read your blog, I really jealous your traditional life. Living with nature is what a lot of people want to but they cannot because some of them still stick with comfortable life ex. Internet, facilities. In Thailand, I usually spend my vacation time in the rural area with my family because it makes me refresh. I can see many green trees instead of block of building, lighting from bar or night club. Living without pollution, traffic. It’s heaven on earth that I can touch…

Hallo Eman, your life is deligtful. As a person, who is grown up in such conditions like you und miss them,I think you are greateful because of your optimisim, however, unfortuanetly the area, where you live, has to suffer nowadays. I wish you lots of longanimity und energy to look forward to better days in the future

Hi Eman! welcome to this forum and congratulations for your interesting and so simple blog! I also, as the other friends enjoyed your blog " isn't an intersting life? "! Your blog, in eddition to simplicity, had signs of your interest to life, indeed!Write again and keep your writings such as before free of political issues however, a good friend has asked you to explain about " the wall "! Karoun

Hi Eman! What a fulfilling life! I understand although your grandfather is quite old, however quit dynamic man. You have all basic necessary food inside your home, haven't you? there are quite few places where people "made" their own food, and this is an absolut warranty of quality of origin. When I buy some food in the supermarket I don't know its origin or wheter the cattle or the crops have been well-raised or well-grown according to the sanity laws. I think I'll follow your blog with pleasure. My best wishes.

Eman: I think that the way you live it's a privelege of the few. It's like having the opportunity to live, feel, ancestry, ancestor worship almost, and at the same times the ultra, the extreme modernity. Thanks for sharing and let us imagine that kind of life could exist, Now, I'd like you to send one of the recipes of your grandmother and perhaps some deseases treated with Al Mardakoush. Thanks.

Hello Eman, it was great to hear about your life in Palestine. I must say that your grandparents are quite a pair!:-) : it seems they have so much energy despite of their age. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and lovely photos with us. Looking forward to hearing from you again.

Hi Eman! I liked so much reading about your life! First of all because one of my dreams is to visit Palestine, then it's so tender to see your grandparents. In a way they make me think about mines. Unfortunately my grandpa died 5 years ago but he was also quite aged: 92 years old. I loved him so much and I spent hours listening to him telling about when he was young. In my opinion old people are like books! Still I have my grandma and she is great: when I need advices about cooking or how to wash a dress or anything else she always helps me with her useful old methods!!

Hi Eman! Pleased to e-meet you. I am very looking forward to reading your blog. I am very interested in getting to know your country. Cheers!!

Hi Eman . i really like your style of life . I think a lot of people have lost the sense of the life. I imagine that your region is so beautiful and you have a nice landscape. It's as authentic as my native country in south of Morocco. your gandfather'picture shows the narrow relationship between the Human being and the land. It's great. thank's Emman

Thank you very much for those so eloquent text and pictures. I like this combination of modern and old. Of technology and nature. Thank you a lot.
