Snow in Desert
Here is an African guy talking. Wouldn't you guess who it is?
Exactly! It is me, Cheikh Vall, last month blogger.
I have been reading what you guys has to write on this amazing page since the beginning of this month.
But I decided, for some reason, not to jump in quickly.
It is strange that Christmas is coming up and it doesn't snow yet.
Actually, it never snows here in the Sahara.
Anyway, if the climate of our planet is going to fluctuate in few years time, I hope we would get our share of snow over here by the end of next year.
People here are bereft of all celebrations; they do not celebrate Christmas as they do not celebrate their own day of birth etc.
But, they enjoy the vacation they got of the end of every year.
Is there anybody knows about the story beyond the Christmas tree?
I am curious to know about it.
Was it the tree under which Jesus believed to be born?
The Muslims, by the way, believe he was born under palm tree.
Happy new year to all of you guys.
