Christmas Is Coming!
I hope youīre enjoying your Sunday :-).
Well, Iīve just realised that everything around is related to Christmas now. I havenīt decorated my tree yet. I know shame on me. I guess is time to do it. Anyway, how do you feel about Christmas? Do you like it or do you think itīs a sad day?
I think the celebration has changed over the years at least hear in Brazil. People are more concernd about what kind of present they will get and the food they will have to prepare than share with their beloved ones and celebrate the hope thatīs renewed in every Christmas.
However, itīs impossible to be indifferent to the city lively lights and decoration.
Helen has listed the favourite Christmas songs here. Iīve never tought about mine. Hmm... maybe White Christmas, although here is summer time and the weather is basically stuffy, cloudy and wet during this period of the year...
By the way friends, thanks for all your comments. Iīm so happy when I read all of them :-).
Jo! Ooh I hope I did well in my exam. But I can tell that all the learning process was very rewarding and joyful. My teacher is so happy because we did the test that she even gave to me and my friend a little present :-).
Anita, we call this cactus May Flower. Iīve watched Mamma Mia but I didnīt like. Actually, Iīm not fond of musicals but I love Abba. It was because of their songs that I went to see the film.
James, youīre such a inventive fellow! :-)
Naheed the pictures are great!
Toni, have you ever tried chamomile tea after you go to sleep? Itīs so relaxing.
Liz! Itīs so nice to see your comments here again :-).
Daria, maybe we can find out more pleasent similarities between our countries :-).
MJ, Paper 5 is the speaking part in FCE exam. It has around 14 minutes of duration. Right now Iīm reading a book that Carmen has recommended to me called Last Night At The Lobster, by Stewart OīNan. Itīs about the last shift at a restaurant. Meawhile, weīre introduced to the peculiar characters of this novel.
Adri! Pamonha is so delicious! Iīm looking forward to reading your recipe :-).
