Mike Johnson
- Trained as a journalist on UK business magazines; and as news editor of Marketing and features editor of BBC Good Food.
- His journalism experience spans broadcast, online and print media.
- He has held the roles of presenter, reporter, writer and producer on well-known programmes and titles in the UK and abroad.
- He's also written for UK national newspapers including The Times, Independent and Guardian.
- Italy is Mike's big passion. He studied at Florence University and travelled throughout the country. He speaks fluent Italian and is training to be a teacher of English as a foreign language.
Working as a live presenter is like doing a high-wire act without a balancing pole. It's exhilarating, scary but never less than enthralling. And there are few other jobs where you don't know what you'll be doing over the next hour, let alone from one day to another!
