Bye-bye Google?

The decision that Google may stop operating in China has taken many people by surprise.

The world's biggest internet search engine says it may well pull out of the fast growing market after a series of cyber attacks targeting human rights activists.

The company faced heavy criticism when it launched a Chinese version of its website which censored certain results from searches on things like human rights. Peter Barron, a senior Google spokesman, was challenged on the issue by the BBC's James Naughtie.
