Latvia's jobless totals soar

A phrase you are going to become familar with in the coming months is "jobless recovery".
Even if the global recession is technically over, unemployment around the world is likely to continue to rise - until you get a jobless recovery.
In the Baltic state of Latvia, unemployment has reached 17% of the population, with young people finding it especially hard to find a job.
The country, which boasted double-digit economic growth as recently as 2007, is going through its deepest crisis since it broke free from the Soviet Union in 1991.
The BBC's Europe Business reporter, Mark Sanders, now reports from Riga as part of the BBC's Taking the Pulse of the Global Economy.
