Originally published in 1959 The Tin Drum has been described as one of the most influential, disturbing and controversial novels of the last half-century. It was written by the German Nobel Laureate Günter Grass, Germany's most important living author, and in the latest edition of click World Book Club he talks about the novel that first brought him fame and notoriety.
