'My Street' Competition

Zongo Street: A coloured-pencil impression of a street in my home town of Tema.
From Ruben Gozi, Tema, Ghana.

I call it the Lonely House because it is the only house in my street. It is the most expensive house in the region of Brikama. It's made of cement bricks and it has a corrugated zinc roof, glass doors and windows. My house is surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees which makes it very different from the rest of the houses in the area. I am the only tenant and I like it that way.
From Hardi Gibril Jallow, Gambia.

The most captivating thing about my street is the way the girls dress. They draw the attention of everybody by wearing dresses that show the details of their physical structure. Some wear mini skirts, torn both in front and behind to expose their inner wears.
From Istifanus Musa Dambi, Pushit, Nigeria.
