FESPACO
is a tremendous meeting place for producers and distributors, directors
and actors, to get together to exchange news, gossip and to strike deals.
And this goes on while some of the best films in Africa are being screened.
At the end of the week, there's the serious business of who wins the big
prize, Yennenga's Stallion, and who are the winners in the special categories.
The winner in 1999 (Fespaco takes place every two years) was Mweze Dieudonne
Ngangura for his film Pieces d'Identite.
