Ivory Coast's first national fashion week is underway.
The initiative is designed to help heal some of the wounds of the crisis as well as build the economic strength of the sector.
Abobo, which became notorious during the recent crisis as the home of the so-called 'invisible commandoes' and the centre of residence to the regime of former president Laurent Gbagbo, is hosting the event.
