President Yoweri Museveni

A consignment of a newly published books about President Yoweri Museveni's regime has been seized by officials after they were deemed to be anti-government.

Reviewers of The Correct Line? Uganda under Museveni by Dr Olive Kobusingye say the book tackles the many ironies and contradictions that have characterised President Museveni's nearly two and half decades in power.

BBC Network Africa's Paul Bakibinga spoke to Dr Olive Kobusingye.

Dr Olive Kobusingye's family has been through tough times in Uganda. Her younger brother died while in custody facing treason charges; and another brother, Dr Kizza Besigye, is President Museveni's political nemesis and has been imprisoned on several occasions.

Paul Bakibinga asked her whether this is what prompted her to write the book.
