President Goodluck Jonathan reveals privatisation plans for the electricity sector

President Goodluck Jonathan has been spelling out his plans for the country's failing energy sector.

He wants to sell off the state run Power Holding Company and use private companies to build new power generators.

Nigerians have long had to contend with irregular power supply.
