One of Rwanda's main opposition leaders and aspiring presidential candidates, Victoire Ingabire, has been arrested.
Ms Ingabire is the head of the yet- to- be registered, Unified Democratic Forces Party, which is a coalition of Rwandan opposition parties.
She returned to Rwanda after years in exile and plans to stand against President Paul Kagame in the elections scheduled for August.
Focus on Africa's Sophie Ikenye spoke to our reporter in Rwanda, Geoffrey Mutagoma, from the Gasabo Court on the outskirts of Kigali.
