Since the end of its long civil war, Angola has embarked on a rapid growth programme; billions of dollars of oil cash and Chinese loans have seen the capital Luanda particularly transformed with construction sites everywhere you turn.
But the city's rapid growth, coupled with general overcrowding, the poor state of the roads and the numbers of lorries and cars pounding the streets means a traffic chaos which gives even Lagos or Cairo a run for their money.
