A group of women in Namibia are planning to go to court over claims that they were sterilised without their consent because they are HIV positive. The organisation, Women Living with HIV/Aids - or ICW, says HIV positive women were also encouraged to sign consent forms just minutes after giving birth to prevent them from having more children.

Hassan Arouni spoke to one of the women, Esther Shihama, on a mobile phone line to Windhoek.
