David Amanor continues his journey in the north of the country, he has reached Upper East region.

As election campaigns will reach their climax in Ghana with campaigning officially ending at midnight Friday, two days before the country's presidential and parliamentary elections.

Our reporter, David Amanor, has been in the opposition strongholds of the North, and he met some lucky tailors in the town of Navrongo.

At the beginning of the year, as the rest of the country was enjoying hosting the Africa Cup of Nations football tournament, the people of Bawku were under curfew.

The measure followed and explosion of ethnic violence in the town between the Kusasi and the Mamprusi communities.

This simmering land and chieftancy dispute has ignited into sporadic incidents of violence throughout the year with scores of people losing their lives and many homes being destroyed.
