A cluster of schools from Shaan Xi Province in the heart of China have joined the Cruncharama. See pictures from two of the schools and read some of their views.

Dai Dian School
Class 1 at Dai Dian School talked about the effects of falling prices.
"The prices of farm products have reduced substantially," they said, "so the farmers get less income."
They could see the affects of rising unemployement: "The number of graduates and migrant workers looking for work means we are less likely to find jobs. It will reduce our families' living conditions and our household incomes."

Pupils want the G20 to kick start economic growth: "Encourage merchants to invest in the construction of local factories so as to develop domestic economy.

Tian Shui Jing Middle School
Like the students at Dai Dian, Class 1 at Tian Shui Jing Middle School were affected by falling prices. They described themselves as the 'children of farmers'.
"The crisis has changed our lives in terms of food, clothes and growing-up" they said, "The crop prices fall and farmers experience economic strains while prices rise. This lowers the living conditions of us as children of farmers."

They are also affected by the reduction of exports from China to the West. "Migrant workers are out of work," they said, "so our families have no source of income any more."
