Climate Change Interactive

cloudsBBC World Class is working with our partners the British Council in the build up to the UN Climate Change Conference, Copenhagen, 7-18 December.

Schools everywhere can share their views with the Climate Change Interactive.

Ask your class to answer four questions:

  • Tell us about the extreme weather where you live. If you have been in storms, floods, droughts, heatwaves, or other extreme weather, tell us what happened.

  • Have you ever missed school because of extreme weather? Tell us what happened.

  • Do you think you are affected by climate change? If yes, how?

  • Whose job is it to look after the natural world?

Email worldclass@bbc.co.uk with the name and location of your school and your pupils’ answers, along with the age of pupils taking part.

Please confirm in the email that you are the teacher and that you have headteacher permission for the BBC to publish your pupils’ answers on BBC output.

We will not be able to publish entire pieces of work, and there is no guarantee that your work will get published although we will publish as much as we can.

If your school has a twin school in another country, please tell us about them when you email.
