Eilidh Child: Commonwealth Class Ambassador

Help

Team Scotland athlete Eilidh Child, who specialises in the 400 metre Hurdles, visits her old school Kinross Primary and talks to Commonwealth Class about her hopes for Glasgow 2014.

Until recently Eilidh was a part time PE teacher but now sees her 'job' as being a full time athlete.

Eilidh talks about her time at the Commonwealth Games in 2010 in Delhi, where she represented Scotland and won the silver medal in the 400 metres hurdles. She hopes to build on that success by winning Gold in the 2014 Games in Glasgow.

She talks about the importance for children to learn more about the Commonwealth and the values the countries in it share.
