Alex's sporting chance

Disabled schoolboy Alex has never heard of the Paralympic Games.

He travels from his home in Kenya to the UK, to meet young disabled athletes.

Alex caught polio as a child, and has little use of left leg and right hand. He speaks to disabled athletes Adam and Aidan to find out more about what life is like growing up with a disability in the UK.

Alex also gets the chance to visit the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

This film is a collaboration between BBC World Class and the British Council. It is aimed at pupils at KS3 and GCSE level.
