When did you last try something new? Did you enjoy what you did?

Mehlum and Suleyman are pupils from a school in Manchester, England and they love to play hockey.

Their school, Stretford High, is twinned with a school on the other side of the world in Pakistan, where hockey is the national sport.

The most popular sports in Manchester are usually football or cricket, but Stretford have been inspired by their friends and now have a hockey team.

Mr Fretwell is head of PE at the school and he says that some pupils who don't like to play other sports enjoy playing hockey.

The school is not only teaching new sports, it is teaching its pupils to speak Urdu - the national language of Pakistan.

Suleyman says he enjoys playing hockey because he is with his friends and they work as a team. Can you think of other activities that are fun to do with your friends?
