VIP's of Jazz
- featuring Dutch Swing College Band Pasadena Roof Orchestra, Terry Lightfoot and his Jazzmen. Dutch Swing College Band, whose history goes back to Liberation Day on 5th May 1945, when the band started out as an amateur combo, until today when they have become Europe’s Oldest Established Traditional Jazzband. Terry Lightfoot made his first professional appearance at The Royal Festival Hall, London in 1956 and joined Louis Armstrong on his 1965 UK Tour. Terry is currently celebrating The Louis Armstrong Centennial with a tribute to the life of Louis playing many of the hits of the era, including 'Hello Dolly', 'Mama', 'Wonderful World', 'High Society' etc. Tickets: £17.50 £16.00. Performance: 7.30pm.

Nashville Nights & Dixie Days
- A celebration of the best of Country Music. A show of country music from Patsy Cline and Don Williams to Garth Brooks and Shania Twain. - Overture 'Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg' Albinoni - Oboe Concerto in D Minor, Soloist Patrick Flanaghan Bruckner - Symphony No. 4 Wagner's thrilling overture to his comic opera is followed by Albinoni's Oboe Concerto, a work brimming with the sheer joy of music-making and an outstandingly beautiful slow movement. House and Garden By Alan Ayckbourn
- House and Garden play simultaneously in the Playhouse's two spaces with the same cast hurtling between them to arrive on time. In a typical country garden the inhabitants are preparing for the annual village fête. Meanwhile up at the house, Teddy is ready for an important dinner meeting that will pave the way for a glittering political career. Children of a Lesser God

Sarah is an angry, young Deaf woman who does not speak. James is the speech therapist hired to teach her to speak so she can function better in the hearing world. Sarah, however, firmly believes that she functions perfectly well. When they fall in love, both have to challenge their perceptions of language and culture in order to discover whether they can survive in a partnership in which not everything can be shared.
