Prior to her headlining appearance at the World Peace Day Concert in Trowbridge on Saturday 21st September, Claire Sweeney found time in her busy schedule to talk to BBC Wiltshire.

Claire was best known for her role as Lindsay Corkhill in Channel 4 soap Brookside before truly hitting the big time after appearing in Celebrity Big Brother in 2001.

Although she eventually came a close second to deadpan comic Jack Dee in the show, Claire has undoubtedly benefited the most from the exposure appearing on Big Brother gave her.

She has since gone on to host Challenge of a Lifetime, appear as Celine Dion in Celebrity Stars in their Eyes, wow the West End as Roxie Hart in the hit musical Chicago and recently release her first album, 'Claire'.

Claire talks about the amazing two years she has had in our interview, which you can listen to in Real Audio by clicking below.
