One of the country's best-loved comedians and soap actors, Mike Reid is paying a visit to Swindon's Wyvern Theatre and Salisbury's City Hall for two shows in October.

Following the huge success of the hit film 'Snatch' in which he appeared as 'Doug the Head' and the release of his best-selling autobiography - 'T'rific', Mike is returning to his roots as one of the sharpest and funniest stand up comedians.

He is probably best known for his role as the put-upon car dealer Frank Butcher in Eastenders, a part he played on and off for 14 years.

That infamous revolving bow-tie scene from Eastenders!

Frank walked out of Albert Square seemingly for good in November 2000 but made a surprise reappeance in a handful of episodes set in Spain this January.

There are also rumours that Frank Butcher is going to appear in his own spin-off show - 'The Frank Butcher Experience' later in the year.

Listen to Mike talk about all these aspects of his career in our exclusive Real Audio interview.
