Rob Grant, one half of the writing duo behind popular BBC2 sci-fi sitcom Red Dwarf has just released his latest novel 'Incompetence'.

It is set in the near future where the common philosophy is that no one can be sacked from their job for being useless at it. The hilarious result is a world full of utter pandemonium!

BBC Radio Swindon and Wiltshire Afternoon Show presenter Graham Seaman recently spoke to Rob about the novel and his varied career.

Hear what Rob had to say about working on Red Dwarf and what he thought of the show after he left, his memories of working with comedians such as Bob Monkhouse and Ken Dodd and much more.
