Ex
Boyzone babe, Keith Duffy, is set to headline at Club Ice on Saturday,
August 7th for the Westbury club's Summer Ball 2004.
The former boyband star turned Corrie bad boy will be doing a live
PA in the main Club in what's billed as the 'Biggest Party of the
Year'.
Duffy shot to fame, in the mid 90s, with the nice young Dublin lads
quintet Boyzone. Feeding the fantasies of preteen girls the five
guys "with the best hair in the business" quickly took
over from Take That to dominate the illustrious boy band category.
With big ballads like "Words", "No Matter What"
and "When the Going Gets Tough" the lads scored No.1s
with three consecutive albums, a
feat matched only by the Beatles and Oasis, and bagged 11 top-five
singles.

With
the band split, in 1999, Duffy signed up as an inmate on Celebrity
Big Brother, tried his hand at presenting before landing a role
in Coronation Street.
Cast as hunky barman, Ciaran McCarthy, Duffy joined the Corrie cast
in 2002.
As a womanising, Irish rogue Duffy soon sent ratings soaring when
he tried to seduce his best friend Peter Barlow's girlfriend - the
Rovers Return landlady, Shelley Unwin.
Now, with another year on the
soap in the bag, Duffy is heading
down from Weatherfield to Westbury to take over Club Ice's main
room for a live PA on Saturday 7th August.
Joining him, at Club Ice's Summer Ball 2004, will be 'Bristol's
Most Wanted' pumping out R'n'B in Room 2, a 'Tribute to Pink' in
Players and custard wrestling, a funfare and the 'Ride of Your Life
Machine' in the Beach Garden.
Here comes summer!
