It
is 30 years since The Brunel Rooms in Swindon opened its doors
and since then it has become the nightspot of choice for
three generations of south
west clubbers.
The
Brunel Rooms started out as a live music venue in 1973 and attracted
many top acts such as Blondie, Talking Heads and The Jam throughout
the 70s.
In
the 80s it evolved into a nightclub to accommodate the growth
of dance music and since then, has never looked back.
The
club's mix of varied events, regular visits from the cream of
the DJ fraternity and a firm but fair door policy has kept the
club head and shoulders above its nearest rivals.

To
celebrate its 30th anniversary, we are proud to present a gallery
of images taken at the club over the years.
We
also come bang up to date with shots of the likes of Westlife,
Mis-Teeq and Sophie Ellis-Bextor visiting the club.
