Many motoring memories were rekindled in Wiltshire at the weekend. The Classic Car and Bike Show was held at the Wroughton Science Museum near Swindon with around 1000 different vehicles on show - some we don't see on the roads much now!
If you were at the event, tell us what you thought!
alan dean i throught it was a great show we had a club stand of ford granadas there at the show
Paul Stokes I was very impressed at the turnout of classic vehicles.
I especially enjoyed the museum with the TWA constellation, DC3 etc.Brought back many memories of my teens as an aircraft spotter (sad isn't it).
It was a very enjoyable day and one for the diary next year. Well Done.
Terry Stokes (Ariel Arrow owner - pic 17) Great site and very enjoyable show. Will recommend to others. Hopefully, next year will have more classic/vintage motorcycles. I understand it will be even bigger and better next year and possibly a 2 day weekend show. Maybe a very small entry fee of say £2 max would help the organisers to pay for the show. Payment from both entrants/exhibitors and visitors. Do not charge any more as this would certainly put people off. The camping facility is also very much appreciated and the land being nice and flat is just the job. It will be even more appreciated if next years show is a weekend show.
Regards and thanks to all the organisers and the BBC Wiltshire team at the show.
