Bulford Kiwi: This Beacon Hill big bird was cut in 1919 by the New Zealand Army based at the now defunct Sling Camp. Not only does it boast a 150' long beak but is so big it had to be covered up during World War II as it was a landmark give away.

Hi I go flying with the Air cadets and I take off from what you say as "one of the longest runways in the country" is really nice and it feels like it goes on forever. I see so many militaty aircraft and you have to watch out where your going.
