Fantastic, and what a feat of excellence for the team of people who have been running this festival for 35 years, without Alan at the helm this must have been an emotional roller coaster, but they flew!It was great to hear tributes to Alan; and the CD to raise funds for Dorothy House masterminded by John Alderslade and put together by Tim Webb and others was a wonderful touch.A group of "old Pumpers" from the original club had their own memorial gathering on the Sunday afternoon listening to Allen Taylor,an original Pump singer.A walk up the hill to the memorial bench just had to follow that!It was a fantastic experience, and thanks to Show Of Hands dedicating "Cousin Jack" to Alan when they played at Stokes Bay a week later as well as their touching tribute during the festival,I would have liked to have walked back to my camp listening to Tim singing "Captain Briars" but then perhaps that would have been hard for some.God bless you all!
